Zq n i have decided to give ourselves a break from work and booked a trip to Malacca on early part of last week. Thus, on last Fri morning ~ 19 Sep, we go to Malacca to R & R =)
It's a 2 days, 1 night trip which we have a night stay at Hotel Equatorial which is next to the largest shopping mall in Malacca as well as the historial Famosa place. The package is quite cheap @ $125 which comes with the hotel stay + drive to and fro from malacca & Sg via super vip bus + breakfast + nonya set dinner which is really very nice...hmm...i like the salty duck soup best. We quite enjoyed the trip as our purchasing power with Sg $ is quite high at 2.4, so i enjoyed shopping at the mall and makan along the way, trying out their chendol and chicken rice ball along the street of Jonker Walk (next time, will go at night for their night market which only setup for fri & weekends after 6pm). We happy to get to eat the MarryBrown fast food which cannot be found at SG anymore...hee
Oh, the Mahkota Parade that is near to our hotel really hv some gd shopping with shops like Mango, Espirit, Padini, Factory Outlet..etc. One interest thing we saw at their arcade is the box-like min karaoke room. Is sing as you pay concept, each song cost SG$0.40 each. We try that out =P How come SG dun have this leh?
